Os seminários do DCP-USP constituem uma das principais atividades da pós-graduação em Ciência Política da USP. Abrangendo todas as linhas de pesquisa do Programa, eles buscam tornar mais viva a dinâmica acadêmica, ampliando o debate de conceitos, métodos e resultados de pesquisa, num trabalho coletivo de aperfeiçoamento permanente da própria Ciência Política.
